Deadline Hollywood has learned that Gwyneth Paltrow is joining the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s action-thriller Contagion that includes Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Marion Cotillard.

Written by Scott Z. Burns, the film takes place over four continents and centers on a terrifying deadly virus outbreak.

The site says the film carries a budget of $60 million.
